KATCHING! Generation 2, part 1

So, you're probably wondering what the 'big thing' was that befell our little poor family. Well does this major (ish) overhaul of the house look big enough for you? I'd say so. Emma (I think it was her, not entirelly 100% on it) received, along with her pay check, about §20,000 out of no where (no promotions, no oppertunities (that i can think of ) plus one of those special golden blenders. Stunned the fudge out of me. So what better use than a good old upgrade from trailer trash to middle class chavs? Now it truly is a home than a hovel.
The bedroom looks lovely now, with a better bed to boot. Why the black and purple, well, that's their favourite colours. Emma, black, Jimmy purple and 1 (soon to be called Marcus) white.
Oh, before i forget, due to Emma's return to the working world and the couple's clashing work schedules, they had to hire a babysitter. I was dreading this, i thought they'd be lazy, incompetent and initially it did look that way, as soon as he arrived he sat and watched tv. Oh dammit I thought. But then when 1 finished playing with his toy, or going to the potty (forgot to take a completion pic) I can't remember which, a miracle happened.
He actually helped out. He got up, went to the kid and snuggled him, tickled and then fed him. HE IS ACTUALLY COMPETENT! *PARTY!* CALL THE MEDIA, the baby sitters in The Sims 3 actually give a crap about the kids. Well okay, maybe I lucked out at he's one of the few but still, no more old ladies moaning and yelling when little Eric needs to eat! Yayyy!
This I'm including only because it looks like Jimmy had a big wee on his way to the toilet. Dirty boy! In fact the sink had broke again, so being sick of that breaking all the time I just bought a new one for them. Give them a break for once. Yes it is before the big overhaul, so sue me.
Here is the pastry chef's outfit, looking snazzy.
And here is Jimmy, with yet another promotion under his belt, this time as an orchestra member. Very nice, very sophisticated!
Pretty soon, Marcus had mastered talking and potty training and all that was left was learning to walk.
Even so, Jimmy soon had chance to sort that out as well as have some needed quality time with his son. Their relationship wasn't BAD as such, but due to time issues and his job, he didn't see much of his son.
And so I leave you with an accomplished son and a father with a friend in him.
See you next time.
